How to travel from the UK

You can take your pick from direct air services from most major British airports from Glasgow to Southampton - with a host of close-to-home departure points in between.
High-speed passenger /car ferries also link the island with the south coast of England and the north coast of France, with services operated by wavepiercing catamarans. These state-of-the-art vessels travel at speeds of over 40 knots and will whisk you from Poole or Weymouth to Guernsey in a little over two hours - in both comfort and safety. There is also a traditional ferry for car and foot passengers operating from Portsmouth.
Terminal facilities at Guernsey airport have recently been extended to cope with increased visitor traffic; arriving by sea you sail right into the heart of St Peter Port, surely the most beautiful harbour capital in Europe.

Further information can be obtained by browsing the carriers' Websites.
